Plan B

Plan B also known, as the morning after pill, is a birth control pill that can prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. It can reduce your chances of getting pregnant by 89%. The sooner you take it the more it’s effective, if it is taken within 24 hours, it is 95% effective. Girls seventeen and older can purchase this product over the counter, but girls younger than seventeen are required to have a prescription. The decision for Plan B to only to sold to girls seventeen and older has recently been changed.
When scientist approves something to be safe and effective it’s the FDA’s job to allow it to be sold over-and-counter. Plan B has been proven safe and effective by scientist but Kathleen Seblius has over ruled the decision for Plan B to be sold over counters. She disagrees with the decision for this drug to be solder counters. She has restricted it from all teens under the age of seventeen. Obama agrees with Seblius’s decision, he believes it is best to keep the age restrictions for the drug so that it won’t be getting used improperly.
I believe that if Plan B was to be sold over the counter to teens 16 and younger it would be a bad decision. I believe this because if younger teens knew they had access to this produce some would abuse it. Also, they could get this produce without their parents’ permission. For example, the produce could encourage them in the wrong way; of thinking that if they have unprotected sex they don’t have to deal with the consequences for doing it.

Kepler 22b

The discovery of a new planet outside the solar system was announced on December 5, 2011. NASA announced it to be an Earth-like planet that could have the right temperature to support life and water. The temperature on the planet in 72 degrees, a nice spring day in the U.S.

NASA has a space telescope, called Kepler that has been staring at a particular area in the sky, which contains over 100,000 stars. It has been looking for a dim in the stars brightness as something goes in front of it, called the transit method. If it does that successfully three times the NASA scientists believe that what is causing the dim in light is a planet.
This planet is 600 light years away, it would take 22 million years to reach it. Scientist cannot tell for sure weather it has a rocky surface, a gaseous planet or a liquidity world. Kepler 22b is located in the habitable zone. It orbits a star very similar to our sun. The planet’s years are even closet to yours, 290 days. Kepler 22b is twice the size of Earth but many people consider it as Earth’s solar twin.

I think it is interesting that scientist found a planet that is similar to ours. I just hope they create technology that will allow them to send a robot or something to explore the new planet. One thing I would like to know is if its any life on that planet, if it were that would be exciting.

King of Prussia Mall Expanding
The largest shopping mall in the East coast will soon grow even bigger. The King of Prussia mall will add 40 more retailers and more restaurants announced by mall owners on Tuesday. The expansion will connect the mall’s two wings, the Plaza and the Court. This will allow shoppers 140,000 more square feet of indoor shopping. This allows shopping to go from the each end of the mall with out going outside as they do now. So the days of traveling the crosswalk to get from Neiman-Marcus to Macy’s will soon be over.

Mall owner Simon Property Group hasn’t set a date for construction to begin. This Project has yet to be announced how much this will cost. The mall is already getting 122,000 square feet that is currently under construction. This project will make the largest shopping mall in the United States under one roof for the first time. The timing of the project coincides with the upcoming 50th anniversary of the center.

I think that this is a great way to make the mall better than it already is. The King of Prussia mall is already amazing and if gets connected that will be incredible. I don’t know what more stores can be added, they already have 400 stores and restaurants. This project will enhance the shopping experience for everyone. I think when this project is done the King of Prussia mall will be perfect. I also believe this will benefit lots of people because more jobs will be available.

Bieber Baby Ma'ma Drama

Mariah Yeater, 20, claims that the 17-year-old pop star Justin Bieber is the father of her child. She claims to have met Bieber after a performance backstage at the Staples arena in October 25, 2010. Bieber denies that he is the three month old boy’s father. He denies ever even meeting Yeater. Bieber is a man of his word. He said that he would take a DNA test to clear his name. he took a DNA test last week, in New Jersey. Yeater now has to get her son, Tristyn, DNA taken. Bieber and his team will be taking legal action against her.

Yeater claims that she was taken back stage by a security guard with a host of other woman before Bieber singled her out. She alleges that she had sex with Bieber in the bathroom after the concert when she was 19 and he was 16. She said Bieber went from the nice and polite person you see on stage to very aggressive.

Bieber, on the other hand has been trying to distance himself from all of the controversy. Bieber said that none of those allegations are true.

I don’t think that Justin Bieber is the father of this child claimed to be his. I think that Mariah Yeater just wanted her 15 seconds of fame and she got it. She just wanted attention, because the baby doesn’t even look like him. If I was Bieber, I would have put off the DNA test as long as possible to make her life miserable.
