King of Prussia Mall Expanding
The largest shopping mall in the East coast will soon grow even bigger. The King of Prussia mall will add 40 more retailers and more restaurants announced by mall owners on Tuesday. The expansion will connect the mall’s two wings, the Plaza and the Court. This will allow shoppers 140,000 more square feet of indoor shopping. This allows shopping to go from the each end of the mall with out going outside as they do now. So the days of traveling the crosswalk to get from Neiman-Marcus to Macy’s will soon be over.
Mall owner Simon Property Group hasn’t set a date for construction to begin. This Project has yet to be announced how much this will cost. The mall is already getting 122,000 square feet that is currently under construction. This project will make the largest shopping mall in the United States under one roof for the first time. The timing of the project coincides with the upcoming 50th anniversary of the center.
I think that this is a great way to make the mall better than it already is. The King of Prussia mall is already amazing and if gets connected that will be incredible. I don’t know what more stores can be added, they already have 400 stores and restaurants. This project will enhance the shopping experience for everyone. I think when this project is done the King of Prussia mall will be perfect. I also believe this will benefit lots of people because more jobs will be available.
